LA Jewels: The Left Bank

Posted by Vanessa Delgadillo on

LA Jewels: The City of Angels is known for Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, UCLA, USC, Dodgers, and HIPSTERS! But lets not forget that Los Angeles is also a melting pot of different cultures. From the Westside, to KoreaTown, to South LA, to East LA, we have a little of everything.

The Left Bank

The Left Bank (TLB) is a Thrift Shop located in, depending who you ask, Silver Lake, Atwater Village, or Elysian Valley (actual address: 2479 Fletcher Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90039). This shop consists of three main rooms - Contemporary, Vintage and Designer. I love this shop because:

1. They have a little of everything for the LA gal. Their clothing prices range from about $8+, perfect for shopaholics on a budget. The clothing is also in good shape unlike other thrift stores (if you know what I mean). The owner personally curates all the items in the shop and is constantly bringing in more items.

2. TLB does not only have clothes, it also sells jewelry, candles, greeting cards, sunglasses, hats and sometimes coffee. There is always something new being added to TLB, everything has a story and many of the things being sold are made by local artisans (Yassss! Hella hipster).

3. The owner is hella nice and you can talk to her for days! I believe her name is Jacque. She is hilarious and her laugh is contagious.

4. They have a free parking space in the back! Hella rare in LA.

If you enjoy shopping for unique pieces and not breaking your bank, you gotta check out The Left Bank.
